A withering sun

Venturing outside

Out of the blue

I see the World once more

Nothing takes off

The nook of change

A maneuver so valuable as

The opening of eyes, as

Sharp as a stormy rain,

Also, in the West

The Sun breaks up into the ocean.

First star shows its light

Beaming into emptiness

An ordinary Sunday comes to an end.

emptiness echoes and light flickers

filling out a blackened soul.

  1. Hehe, I don’t know how to appreciate! The way your words portray the transition of evening to night, it’s mesmerizing! The picture itself speaks so much. Also, the ending leaves a deep imprint.

Thanks a ton for observing and commenting on my amateur work, chandani. Your support makes me do better everyday.
Haha yeah it was an amazing day to be honest, not like other days. I kept my study schedule apart and went for a little road trip with family.
No sisters by blood but cousins send us rakhis by post. We two brothers wear them with pride, lol.
Btw happy Rakshabandhan to you βœŒβ˜•

      1. Hehe, don’t say that. First of all, I came here only for my dose of inspiration, okay? 😹 And second, this doesn’t look like amateur work. You’re already writing like a pro. I am a little jealous of you, huh. My imagination is literally zero. πŸ˜›

Yayyy, good that you kept studies aside for today. Family time is the most precious afterall. Hehe, good to know that you enjoyed so much. 😸
