A lazy Sunday

A small fish, swam up to stare,
the sun’s converging ray.

Reflected in the rippling lake,
trees trembled, nebulous and gray

Sitting by a bubbling brook
watching the rabbits play

Tea poured from a copper kettle,
and cookies wait in a porcelain tray.

Bird sang melody, sky turned blue
nature’s beauty on display.

  1. OMG! Yipppeeee!! The wait is over. 😻 I was smiling throughout this poem, haha. Thankyou so much for penning such beautiful things down. ❤ Your words paint such a magical pastoral scene, I’m spellbound. The way you choose adjectives is sooo perfect, huh. It’s like your words speak. 😼 Love this very much.
