Heart Talk

It’s strange how we all have a persona,
An image we’d like others to see.
A charm and charisma, an emotional clothing
It’s nice but it’s not really “me”

The real me, the me of me, the “who” that I am,
He’s not cool, calm or collected.
Inside the thoughts his head go crazy,
Like an untamed deranged juvenile. He’s a mess

Always overthinking random stuff of conversations he had.
With friends or strangers
Thinking the best, then ruminating the worst,
Battering himself with enfeebling fears.

He hide these fears behind fake actions, fake smiles,
Fake talks or fake phrases
Convinced that a fake him is better than the real him,
For now and the rest of always

PS:
A mind in overdrive can be really exhausting. Phew!
Most of us portray a fake us to keep up with society on a day to day basis.Until in the end it consumes us and we become that of which we pretend to be.

Some say that a man lives a better life when he sheds all masks. The truth underneath just needs to be brought into the light.

So what are your thoughts on it? Can we shed all masks?
I believe it’s only natural that we have private and public persona’s to some extent.

Also, on serious note, I want to dive into spirituality. I know the word “Spiritual” is abstract, but something tells me that it has answers to my questions. So please suggest me something, books or some accessible texts, so that I can propel the quest to find myself and my life’s purpose.

Thanks.

Soul Talk

Dear emotional, overthinking young man

Be quiet, and listen to your soul

The New Year has come, the old shall go

I beckon you to leave life’s safe shore

And dive deep in the waters of mystery and lore

Feel free to spread your wings

And discover the fun the unknown brings.

Get rid of self-pity, self-indulgence, ignorance, and regret

And also stop to listen and allow other’s words to be said

Don’t miss out on trips, chances, and opportunities

I hope you’ll fill that void of travel you’re missing

You’re no longer a boy trapped –

Stuck in his Mommy’s grasp

Live. Live your freedom.

Meanwhile, remember that,

Happiness is not wealth, power and line of respect

it’s the little things; the calm, the moments

The people and things in life all worth to invest.

I hope you live this time

I hope you see the beauty life truly is

I hope you find love

I hope you find this poem…

~Your Soul

Why Right-Wing politics is on a rise across the World?

With Boris Johnson winning a landslide Tory electoral victory not seen since Margaret Thatcher’s triumph in 1987, it’s evident that the world politics is heading toward right-wing populism.

boris.
Boris Johnson

Right-wing populist and nationalist governments are in power in Russia, Turkey, India, Israel, Hungary, Poland, and the United States, and they share power with left-wing populists in Italy. Japan’s Shinzo Abe has taken his conservative Liberal Party in a notably nationalist direction. And with Angela Merkel announcing her intention not to run for re-election, and her party anxiously watching the rise of the far-right Alternative for Germany, it’s likely her conservative coalition will also begin sounding right-wing populist themes.

Quote

The crowning glory of human development rests not in our ability to reason and
think, though this is what distinguishes us from animals. Intellect, like instinct, is
merely a point along the way.
Our ultimate destiny is to re-connect with our essential being and express from our extraordinary, divine reality in the ordinary physical
world, moment by moment.

~ from the book: “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle
