I’ll have my say

When the past takes me back to the wintry storm
The thought of glorious daybreak smiles on my sky
Vanquishing doubts my dreams fly high
Nothing there to obstruct my view

Yesterday’s twilight warns dusk of today
Stars of the night don’t come out every day
But hope is eternal and patience does pay
If I wait till tomorrow, I will have my say

Upon my sunshine when yesterday rains
Dwelling in my present my new-dawn claims
I think of the way the seasons change
And paint the canvas in my vibrant ways

Today I love those smiling faces
Tomorrow it may be a mystical draw
Stars of the night don’t come out every day
But hope is eternal and patience does pay
If I wait till tomorrow, I will have my say
I will have my say…😎
