Keep Smiling

 

A smile costs nothing, however, gives much

It takes, however, a minute, yet its memory ordinarily keeps going forever.

None are rich to the point that can get along without it-

none are so poor that can be made rich by it.

It advances the individuals who get,

without making poor

the individuals who give-

It makes daylight in the home

It can heal a frozen heart

But it can’t be asked, obtained, or stolen,

for it is of no esteem,

Except if it is given away.

A few people are excessively caught up with,

making it impossible to give you a smile

Give them one of yours-

For the great Gods realizes that nobody needs a smile so badly

As he or she who has no more smiles left to give.

Hey, guys! How are you doing today? I hope you are doing fine and that heat outside is not beating you up. Well, drink a lot of water to stay cool and healthy. Happy Summers!

Summer

Crystal rain drop

caught in the

cumulus clouds

lilies blooming

A brown butterfly

pecking in a rice field

ever deepening colors ―

of the owl’s eyes

summer heat

sunlight escaping

in the frozen puddle

curled up together

in the crimson red sky

Friend

---

Hey friend
When the rain starts to pour
If the sky… above you turns dark
And that old north wind begins to blow
Keep your head together and call my name
Soon I’ll be knocking upon your door

I know you are cold
But don’t you shiver
Shout out my name
I’ll always be waiting for you
I’ll be there by your side

You’re my end and my beginning
You’re my downfall, you’re my muse
You light up my world
So whenever you are down,
Call out my name

Promise me
If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
Or the mountain should crumble to the sea
You won’t cry, You won’t cry
cause’ I’ll be there for you,
in your tough times!

Gone

---

I image once more
our silhouette against the sunset
at the edge of the ocean
the waves crashing on the
shore, a perfect illusion

I imagine once more
a moment so perfect
thought we’d build a bungalow, white and green there
With rows of hollyhocks, all sedate.
And you’d come out on the five-eighteen
And meet me down at the garden gate.

I imagine once more
our walk on the whistling shores
the voice of high-domed crab stilled
thought, you and I
With sweet simplicity all our aim,
We’d fare together to start
something great

I imagine once more
the bliss, the
sky as
the sun mottles the ground
you’re gone now and
I sit here
thinking about you and
all your kindness
longing to have you back
you haunt me to this day
